In this Step, I’ll show you how to deliver superior customer service by bringing all the work in the previous Steps together as part of your ‘Elite’ business improvement program.  This will increase your revenues from more satisfied customers.

I’ll also show you how to minimise the thruput times and pipeline lead times of your processes, and how to use various types of kanban to control material flow, including a unique time-based kanban used in fresh-daily businesses.

You’ll look over my shoulder as I work with the in-house project team in the typical pharma company over their first seven weeks, as they devise solutions to the physical, information, quality, people and organisation issues they face in order to achieve their radical ‘Elite’ targets from the program.
